Okayti Estate was founded at the end of the nineteenth century in Darjeeling on the border with Nepal. It is well known for producing the finest teas and got it's name from being described at the London auctions as 'the only ok tea'.
This very special, delicate, exclusive white tea takes 50 workers two days from plucking to packing to make 400gms. Its a labour of love but once you taste it will never be forgotten.
It's light with a delightful muscat, lychee flavour.
This is a very bulky but lightweight tea so a much holds approximately 30gms and a caddy 60-70gms.
