Our loose leaf milky oolong tea comes from the southern Chinese province of Fujian, one of the main centres for tea in China and birthplace of black, green and oolong teas
Why is it called milky? This is because the leaves, processed by hand are milk steamed before rolling and drying making a cup that tastes, creamy, caramel sweet and mellow.
This process preserves the attractive light olive-green leaf and gives rise to the distinctive taste. The leaves are then rolled manually and dried.
Although this tea has a rich and luxurious taste, so popular with those who try it, it is in fact a great metabolic boost. Oolongs give your system a boost and help to break down fat making it a perfect alternative to coffee for finishing a rich meal.
A pouch of this tea contains 50gms.
